I don't normally drink during the week. Partly because I figure I don't need the extra calories and partly because I'm not that big a drinker anyway so it's pretty easy to save a nice glass of something for the weekend. But sometimes something special happens and a celebratory drink is called for. In this case it was the christening of a very special Christmas present. Something Hubby and I had been wanting for a long time but couldn't quite afford. Or couldn't quite justify. Or couldn't agree on. Or all of the above. And then we found it, the very thing that would make our lives that much better.
And the maiden voyage of anything, even the new barbie, calls for a glass or two of bubbly. Right?

Oh my... THAT is a beauty!
I'm constantly amazed by how much I can be mesmerised by a nice shiny BBQ these days... the bloody things have so much 'Bling' on 'em I'm almost afraid to go near them - such is the awe in which I hold the damn things.
Mine isn't anywhere as shiny nowadays - not even close - but man, do we give it a good work out most of the year! Cooked some very nice home made pizzas in them on Boxing Day - yummo... even the mother-in-law gave me the thumbs up! That and the fact that our fussiest son stuffed his head full pretty much clenched it for me!
So jealous right about now... I'm off to BBQ's Galore!
:-)
Wow, Ingo´ll want to come right over!!!
How cool is that?!
Cheers, I´d say!
Nice barbie. When we lived in Cairns, hubby built our BBQ into the kitchen he built on our (huge) balcony. We moved over here to ABu Dhabi BBQ-less. We ended up buying one off a friend who was moving into an apartment from a Villa, and buy, its been the best $ we've spent. Nothing quite like a BBQ is there? Yours looks very fancy indeed. =)
