Prize-a-palooza Take III

Posted by MANDI at 7:54 PM
The third and final competition, courtesy of Mums United and Soup, is up and running. It's open from now until 6pm Perth time, tomorrow (Friday, 2nd Dec).

What's up for grabs? A gift card for Kmart, valued at $100. The idea is that you'll use it to purchase things that will help you be more active - whether that's sports equipment for the kids, new work-out gear for yourself or some fun pool toys. And considering that Christmas is just a few weeks away I'm thinking this is pretty good timing.

What do you have to do? I'm going to make you work for this one. You need to answer a couple of simple question to be in the running and I'll be drawing the winner at random.

Who can enter? As long as you're in Australia, you can enter. Just leave your answers as a comment.

Questions 1: Tell me one recipe that you've tried from my blog.
Questions 2: How did it turn out?
Questions 3: Would you make it again?

See, easy! Good luck!!

Master Blaster Chicken...turns out perfectly every time and the kids love it...we usually have it once a month and I can almost recall the recipe by heart now! Also make your (or maybe Ms Gibbs?) apple and cinnamon muffin recipe regularly as it is the only one Sophie (my Miss Fussy Bum!) likes! Kaz x

I thought this was going to be easy, because I have a lot of your recipes printed out, filed and used regularly. But I can't find them all on this blog (obviously they are getting on in age now!). What do I use regularly?? Banana bread (well I have the book too, but I got it from you first!), Caramelised chicken cutlets, French toast, chocolate caramel tarts.... the list goes on.
But I shall choose your Home-style Chicken & Vegetable Pie (old blog I know..) Turns out very well and I've made it many times and am confident it'll be used again.
From what I can find here 'On The Sunny Side' I'll add the French Toast. It get's a regular workout in our house.
Sorry I couldn't just choose one. Didn't follow the rules I guess.

I don't live in Australia, so include me out - but wanted to let you know I made your Chocolate Crispy Biscuits a while ago and they went over very big at the office. Loved the rice crisp/coconut/chocolate combo.

Also, I am going to be visiting Australia (Melbourne/Sydney) in January and am very excited! Are there any day trips from either city you would recommend (I won't have a car so it would need to be by train/bus). Any suggestions welcome.

I have had to create a section in my cooking file of Mandi's recipes! We have lots that we like - Chicken Master Blaster, Apple & Cinnamon Muffins, Choc Birthday cake, Pavlova, the roasted pumpkin salad, but my fav is the Rustic Egg, Cheese and Bacon Pie!
It always turns out nice - and even better everyone likes it.
Yes it's on our regular list of easy, quick, yummy dinners!
