Is it really wrong to be glad that Packed To The Rafters isn't on? I know it has a huge following but, man, I can't stand that show. Even better, I'm enjoying its replacement hugely. But please, tell me our ten year high school reunion wasn't that horrible. I had a ball but I was somewhat hideously drunk which may have contributed to the level of fun-ness!

- Once upon a time I had a different blog all about my life as a Red Dirt Mummy but after four years and a move back to the hills of Perth I needed a break from blogging. I soon found out that I really missed it and so this blog was born. There's still cooking and the kids, but it's also about striving to live on the sunny side and seeing the world in a 'glass half full' kind of way.

I had such a great time at our ten then our twenty year reunions. I watched the show last night out of sheer curiosity - I'm not a huge fan of dramas/comedies on the commercial channel (I grew up with To The Manor Born... my standards are very high!) but I actually enjoyed W&L as a bit of harmless escapism. I'll do what I usually do with new TV shows; I'll watch for two or three weeks and then probably forget it's on and stop watching altogether.
