- Once upon a time I had a different blog all about my life as a Red Dirt Mummy but after four years and a move back to the hills of Perth I needed a break from blogging. I soon found out that I really missed it and so this blog was born. There's still cooking and the kids, but it's also about striving to live on the sunny side and seeing the world in a 'glass half full' kind of way.
