Offspring #1 was in dire need of a haircut and the decision was made that it was time for a 'big boy' style rather than the bowl cut he's had for the past couple of years. I know lots of people hate/hated the bowl cut but with a mohawk-making double crown at the back and a quirky cow-lick at the front it served it's purpose of keeping his hair under control (sort of!). We trotted off to the barber after school today and, after consultation with one of the girls who works there, #1 had his hair cut in a style rather than just cut. He looks gorgeous (says one very besotted Mummy LOL) and the new 'do' makes him look older somehow. Yeah, he still looks like a little kid, but it's taken some of the baby-ness away from his face.
