Oh Look. Photos of My Kids. Again.

Just in case you forgot what they looked like while I was away...

We convinced the Daddy of the house to put the pool up when the temperatures hit the high 30's for several days in a row. Actually, I wanted him to go with us to the Lake for a picnic and a swim and he didn't want to so figured putting up the pool would shut me up but the first explanation sounds nicer. Anyway... the kids have had a ball playing in the pool and now, upon rising from their beds at Bloody-Early O'clock each and every morning, their first question is not about breakfast but what time they will be allowed to swim.

It's only a little pool so to call what they do swimming would be a fairly generous description but they splash and play and bash each other with the pool toys and generally exhaust themselves enough that I can make them go to bed half an hour before their actual bedtime. During school holidays.
Yeah, I know. Pure genius.

I can't tell you the demands I get for putting together a pool of some sorts, just so the lads can splash in it (please read that thusly: "Just so the XO can lay down and stretch out in it!") ;-)

The XO is a pool body - I'm a beach body - we struggle to meet in the middle lol But thankfully there's a great little beach that is mostly covered in shade just up the river from Freo. It's mostly shade just abut all the way to the waters edge... the kids LOVE it!

She still wants that pool but... *sighhhhhh*
Good to see you back on deck - I figured you'd pop up sometime - glad you did mate! ;-)

I had to check a conversion chart because your sweet little girl looks like the water is a might chilly! But you've been in the upper 90's so that's great "lounging in the pool no matter what size" weather! We are (back to conversion chart....) 6° C so no pool for us. DH did go fishing today but he put on several layers and one was his thermal longjohns (don't know if that's what you call them there). I'd love to visit Australia this time of year.....I'm not a fan of cold weather and I live in NE Texas where it really doesn't get all that cold!

So glad you are back. I missed seeing pics of the kiddos. How was their Christmas? Bet the house was alive with energy! I miss my boys being little. *sigh*
