I started blogging back in 2006 when Hubby and I, along with the then very small kidlets, made the 1600km move to the north-west of Western Australia. That blog was Red Dirt Mummy and it opened up a whole new world for me. I made friends across the world, kept in touch with old friends, and shared my love of cooking, my kids and the new life we were making.
A few years later we made the trek back to the not-so-big city of Perth and settled back into our regular lives. I wasn't a Red Dirt Mummy anymore and I started to feel like a bit of a fraud. After some time off I rediscovered my love of blogging and so, On The Sunny Side was born.
In my former life I was a high school English teacher. But I don't let that get in the way of grammatical errors, typos, and a general lack of proof-reading!
